very nice drawings .. the only problem that i have with some of them are the eyes. they look like thiey are looking at 2 opposite directions..

it might be scary and too violent for 7yr old kids.

but its very nice style... I like it a lot .

Good job

I have a history of trying to tell adult themed stories through the use of younger characters. I think people don't realize that in certain environments children cope with the same problems adults do. Anyway, it's creepier when something messed up is happening and there are children involved, makes the situation seem worse!

I spent about 25 to 30 minutes on each piece and hope to get quicker with each drawing. I'm sorry my characters eyes are odd. I absolutely hate Anime and big eyes so my technique is to make them as small as possible but still give them emotion.

Anyway, thanks for leaving a comment here. The people at Deviant were alot more expressive and interested than I thought and kinda hoped the CGTalk community would be the same...but I guess since I'm not posting the "caliber" of work people are used to, I won't hear much in return.

i think its a cool style for a kids book, don't worry to much if it scares them a bit, back in my day with neverending story and the goonies that was scary but good times!

Great action poses!!!!
Cool design!!!
Great atmosphere!!!

I agree with that: " I think people don't realize that in certain environments children cope with the same problems adults do."

I really like your characters...they're different than what you see out there all the time. Nice work!
