CGTalk - Scanline Plugin!..

Hi guys..

im looking for a way or a plugin to make kind of a scanline vision in after effects like the terminator vision... where every other lin e is more illumination then the other.... if you know what i mean...

i found ONE plugin called Robovision... that did not work with After effects 6...

Hi,

This might help:

Add a Posterize, Invert and Hue Saturation and play with the values.
Procedural effects are great, all you need to do is use what AE already has, combining filters you got some pretty amazing stuff.

There is a transition filter called Venetian Blinds that is standard that can make the thin lines then using it awitha transfer mode liek mulitply, some noise and other crud..BLAMMO! Terminator vision!

I'm all messed up, I don't know why the heck I was thinking about Predator, yeah for the R2D2 hologram thing you can use the Hologram footage made by the Duality people, or you could use the Venetian Blinds that gmask have told you, I think is the best option.

download Pete's After Effects Plugins (http://www.petewarden.com/), which are free. I believe there is a plugin among them which does that job ;)
