wip: dark angelus design

Looks fine, little bit static but thats not the problem. Are you fan of Diablo 2? Well, this guy looks like Necromancer from Diablo, same armor, hair... if you replace sword with magic wand, it will be same person. :)

arg!! i'm desmasked!!!lol

the problem is taht when i create the caracter (his story, his design and all that) i wrote a text on it exactly like you see it now...then i start the research, for his first design draw.

when i see the necromancer, i knew that it was the dark angelus that i wrote near that one year before, then i really inspired by this one.

but the purpose is not to copy this design then i waited for probably 4 or 5 month before draw the first version, but when i did it it was that (not that one but the design is still the same) and i can't detached it from my dark angelus.

so i know that people will says that i'm copying but i want to keep this one and i don't mind there so many others caracters in my story that i think i can do it...

sorry if my post isn't clear

go see my wip-orc in 3D threads i got the same problem with the orc of warcraft, game i never played (maybe i will be hired in blizzard's studios hahahahaha!!!!! lol wishes make live lol)

Hey, i didnt said you copy it :) This is just WIP, i belive that in next steps Dark Angelus will become a much more personal, and original. Your work looks great, and i really like it and im looking forward to see the finished piece.

I think it's coming along just fine. I see you've started the painting process on the body , but the face is stil the same as in the first post. I think once you eliminate some of those ink lines on his face the effect will be PIMP. Just my 2 c's
