I would certainly not recommend using Combustion if you want to editing anything more than a few shots...

for a start the single audio track would be a bit of a limitation! :) Combustion is for Effects, compositing & motion graphics, not editing long complex video. It has to cache most things into RAM before you can playback in realtime. But it can do many things hat are impossible in any editor!
