3D-Palace is pleased to announce the release of a new tutorial set, Warhammer Imperial Sentinel. It can be downloaded here (http://www.3d-palace.com/modules.php?name=Videos&pid=35)

These tutorials cover the creation and basic animation of a walker sentinel robot from the Warhammer 40,000 universe www.gamesworkshop.com (http://www.gamesworkshop.com)
from beginning to end in full video and sound. It is suitable for an intermediate Max user, or a beginner with some time on their hands.

The parts are as follows:

Part 1 - The foot - 31 minutes
Part 2 - The legs - 43 minutes
Part 3 - The Abdomen - 42 minutes
Part 4 - The Cabin pt 1 - 44 minutes
Part 5 - The Cabin pt 2 - 31 minutes
Part 6 - The Weapon - 40 minutes
Part 7 - Basic keyframing a walk - 33 minutes

Thats a total of 264 minutes, or 4 and 1/2 hours nearly, all for free to all our free members!

Can these tutorials be applied to other programs besides max? Like for instance Cinema 4D :D ?

Assuming you're pretty good at seeing how things relate from one package to another you should be able to do it, yes, it'll take a little more work, but feel free to download and check one out, and then you can be the judge. :)
