View Full Version : spilt liquid on my kerboard...what to do now?

Hi

Accidentaly a small botle of cleaning liquid spilts on my pc keyboard. Now obviously it does not work. Many keys do not respond and other are all mix up. For example if i hit space bar it produce three numbers, enter is up arrow, etc.

I read that i have to let it dry for a couple of days:hmm::hmm:......i can NOT wait that long and sadly i just can go to the pc store until next week to buy a new one if necessary.

Anyways, is there a "quick" way to try to fix the wet keyboard....?

Take it apart and dry it out. Though if you're not familiar with electronics you might make things worse. :shrug:

Yes, i though that but i don`t have pc hardware knowledge, so as you said it can be worse.

I read that spilt alcohol could help since it dries faster, although i don`t know if spilt liquid again on the keyboard can be of any good...
