Is it possible to export/convert a maya model as an array of points?
In the format like
[-30.55,-33.02,-156.46],
[-21.84,-23.88,-157.23],
[47.50,-61.98,-72.90], etc

Thanks to whoever can help.

Please elaborate, why do you want these values...
Try to export as .obj and open that OBJ in a text editor, is this what you want. :lightbulb

yeah, pretty much anything is possible.. but it depends on exactly what you are trying to do.. models don't just consist of xyz coordinates right? what about the face definitions? or do you simply want to output a point-cloud..?

a simple approach in this case would be to list the vertex positions in MEL (pointPosition) and fprint them to a file.
