CGTalk - CAR rendering ??

car anybody plzs tell me what kind of material do u apply for a car body to do a good car rendering.in final render.. i have seen some amazing renders on www.suurland.com and www.squir.com.. plzs check them and tell me in detail what kind of material and setup do i need.. and also how to setup a enviroment for that.... if anyone know a tutorial for this to do in Finalrender plzs let me know... help me plz. thanks in advance

I'm looking for a short discription how to render a car with the max renderer, but I don't find it.

I want to to have a metallic surface with a wax glossy. I tried the multi-layer shader, but the results are very poor... :annoyed:
