View Full Version : How to cut down time on animated architectural render.
estinnis 01-28-2011, 03:59 PM Hello! I'm doing a fly-by sequence through some buildings and I'm using Vray to render. At about 10-20 minutes render time per frame, the total sequence will take much more time than I have to complete the entire thing. I'm looking for advice on how to tackle this? Is it possible to bake lightmaps? Should I render out separate passes? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

You should bake lighting. Also if you use motion blur, look into new stereoscopic feature, which speeds up motion blur and depth-of-field. Is it interior or exterior? Maybe you could show several frames?
