Hi everyone. This image was created in LightWave 3D 7.5 and MojoWorld 2.0. I tried to fake subsurface scattering with the MW-raytracer. The original render is 4000 x 3000 pixels.
What do you think? :)

It looks quite nice, its a simple scene and I'm not sure how the SSS works within what does essentially look like a thin tube. But the use of colour is nice as is the perspective of the scene, is there any background story to this image or is it just a pipe in the sea?
It kind of gives me the impression of an old Sci-Fi book cover.
