Hey guys!
i've got a newbie question for you, i must say that i just start rigging for about a couple a months ago, but i really liked the feature broken hierarchy for the hand. When i animate i love to always have the wrist joint axis for all the hand so i don't have to always rotate it when i do a walk cycle, etc.
So here is my question, i've did a couple of test with the broken hierarchy (learned it from Hyper realistic creature book). I tried to apply it for a FK to IK arm setup. It work pretty well but when i need to constraint orient the Hand control to my IK wrist, it start to get bad. Here's some screenshot:
The CTRL has the joint orient and it's freeze (i did the shape trick to get it all to 0 and keep the orient)
HERE (http://img217.imageshack.us/i/1handorient.jpg/)
But when i move it the CTRL rotation change and i don't know why.. It's probably really easy but i'm not used to rigging :P
HERE (http://img263.imageshack.us/i/2handorient.jpg/)
It's suppose to keep following all the elbow, original wrist rotation axis..
Any idea someone! xD
Thanks,
Gab
