I usually use it for the "straight poly" function (when you have an uneven surface--the opposite of "crumple". Iron is also good (Samir reworked Iron 2 to be non-modal for R8) for smoothing a group of points--a good one.

The "Koenigsmarck cut" refers to Arndt Koenigsmarck of VREEL and his plugin Cutter that was integrated into Mess. Select a poly(s) and the plug cuts them in various ways.

His old R6/7 site:

Whats been going on with Mess and Samir? Must have missed the thread.

Hi Kotayus,

this is very great work and sooooo highly appreciated! You have greatly described the functions and their use, I couldnīt have done it better.

I am thankful for your help and support and I would love to link people to your site and to this tutorial (align to last point really is the same as align to first point but kind of reversed ), just drop me an email if (and how) I can do so.

These tools are ALWAYS a huge help for my own modeling and help me speeding up some simple things that would take a lot more time if they would have been done manually, that was the original intention of MESS.

I am glad to see other people have a use for it too.

Wow, I still canīt believe you have done this. Thank you!!

Btw. align 2 last/first points can also be used on more than 2 selected points.
