what is the best platform for 3d and cg working?
I use Intel and windows 7 but I have heared about MAc benefits. Should I change my system?

I prefer Linux, it is much faster than Windows and I like it better than Mac. The only problem is software compatibility, depending on what you use. There is no Linux version of 3dsmax or zbrush, to my knowledge. If you already have a pc you can dual boot it to get the best of both worlds.

It really doesn't matter IMO. Whatever works. Unless you like 3DS Max, in which case you have to go with Windows.

Windows 7, I don't think theres any differences actually, just use what you think is more comfort to you

Use the Commodore 64 or 128. More RAM than the Apple II, and much better graphics!

thank you everyone! you helped me so much my dear friends.

Now I am working with win7 and intel+Gforce. I think it's better to keeping on my known softwares and hardwares. But I'd like to test AMD cpus.
