View Full Version : Can an image sequence be assigned to an Action?

For the last few years I've had Nick Porcino's USS Enterprise model, and had been wondering how to animate a warp engine effect in the nacelle caps like on the tv show.

I took Nick's "nacLightsAlpha.tga" image, and created a few variations of it in a paint program by rotating it in 90 degree steps. I then named the new versions as nLA0, nLA1, etc., and loaded them into the model's image directory as an Image Sequence. Finally, the original image assigned to the decal was changed to the new image sequence.

The result looked promising, but it only runs the sequence once during choreography, and I don't know how to make it a loop.

Do I need to assign the image sequence to an Action, and then apply that Action to the model?

Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions.
