Hello I hope someone can help me with this and here is my problem. I have these edges and I want them to meet at the center and I have tried connecting welding etc..... and none of these methods work and I have been told why it does not work to try to connect them this way but no one ever told me how I can connect these edges. I have tried to connect vertices but then this happens.

Im pretty new to all this 3D modeling and stuff but from a few tutorials Ive followed Ive taken in a few things.

With edges that i want to get rid of completly i usualy just hit "Backspace" It'll remove the edges and should keep the polgons intact, but Im still learning and I dont know if this is the best way to go about doing it.

Edit: Oops my bad i didnt notice the other image i just thought you wanted them to disappear my mistake....sorry cant help with that problem

I think you've got some edges there that you can't see, from what I understand you want to well all of those vertices together right?

In the case of the error that happens, you could just use Target Weld on those vertices that are out of place to attach them to the other one.

...or, select all those vertices and hit 'collapse', it'll weld them all together at once.
