Already saw this on your website, but I didn't have the chance to say how wonderful this is! You can almost feel the touch of his clothes, and imagine a really funny and emotive character that to be honest, could be used in a top quality motion picture. Your skills and talent just keeps impressing me more and more, and for me, you're one of the best around, a constant source of inspiration, and everytime i see a new work from you, it's impossible for my jaw not to drop.

Thank you all :)
Have to say Tom Gluckmann did an amazing job on the concept, i just tried to be faithful to his design as much as possible.

I was not sure how to post a clickable iperlink to the big resolution render in the first post, so here it is again :

http://www.eklettica.com/pictures/gt/gt_final.jpg

and here`s the original zbrush sculpting :

and the final wireframe :

one comment i have to say though is he looks too clean,if he's a ww2 soldier or something it would look nice if he had some battle damage dirt to him or get him grubby

Great charachter Alessandro, really funny expressions :)
Perfect modeling, extreme texturing/materials quality.

You did another awesome piece, in which (in my opinion) is proved that you are easily able to create top quality images although they are not showing your unique and well known "drawing-like" style.

Congrats man, 5*

The model is perfect, even the tiny details have lots of work put into them. Congrats!

Could you please tell something about your workflow?
I'm interested in the topology. Do you start with Zbrush and retopology the whole object after finishing the sculpting or maybe you plan the topology first and you're subdiv modeling the mesh and then detail it in zbrush after the process of building good mesh? Also how do you manage the problem of different smoothing of the mesh in Zbrush and 3dsmax - meshsmooth works different than subdividing in Zbrush of course.

Once again it's a stunning work done here!

I bet if u did this without zbrush it was on CG Choice Gallery (http://forums.cgsociety.org/forumdisplay.php?f=121)
why cgsociety likes poly modeling so much ? zbrush can do it better and faster

As always, your work is truly incredible and a huge inspiration to all. I would love to see a 'making of' in the same vein as some previous ones you've compiled. Particularly the displacement methods used on his clothing.
