Hello, I've got a little question that I can't seem to solve looking through the docs...

Say I set the specular amount on a material to 20% then put a noise above it affecting specular amount with value one 0% and value two 100%. Does that noise alter the spec amount between 0 and 20, or 0 and 100?

Thanks!

It doesn't matter what the specular amount is set to in the material, texturing the specular amount overrides the material setting.

... unless you set your specular maps Blend mode to something other than "Normal". I tend to use "Normal Multiply" for spec so that I can still use the specular amount from my material.

it's all beginning to make sense. :bounce:
