View Full Version : Rigged Character mesh wont collide with softbody??

I have a scene that has two rigged character walking on a ground. I need the surface to look like snow so I made a NURBS surface for the main surface and then for the snow I made a polygon square above the NURBS which I made a softbody with many subvids. I then made the character meshes collide with the poly surface.
I get this error message when I select the two meshes and then the poly surface and then go Particles -> Made Collide.

// Error: SoldierCharacter1:Soldier_Body owns no collisions.
Please select a geometry shape which can collide with particles.
Use Particles | Make Collide to make it collide. //

Then in the playback the feet of the characters do not effects the softbody at all.

Am I missing something or is there a tutorial for this? :hmm:

Your softbody will have an associated particle shape. Make your characters collide with this particle shape, not with the softbody mesh.

I tried that and still the same results. :shrug:
