hi,
here is a monster I'm modeling for a project with friends.
It has a double low jaw that opens wide like a snake but without a skin membrane.

The high res version is done in zbrush, unfortunatly the pc I'm working on isn't powerful enough to add more details.

I still have to optimize the mesh to delete polygons that are not necessary.

C&C welcome !

this guys cool, the snake look works well but with teeth like that won't his teeth cut into his jaw every time he closes his mouth?

Is the first wire shot, the very same wires as the one with the smooth added and are there any displacement maps added to him in the final shots?

No the teeth won't cut into the jaw, I placed each teeth in a closed mouth position to avoid that. It will behave like a crocodile jaw.

The first wire shot is the one I modeled with traditional polygon tools, the second wire shot is the same with a smooth operator and sculpted in zbrush, the 3rd one is just a shaded view of the 2nd.
No displacement maps. But I could generate some with the ATI normal mapper tools, maybe it's a good idea !

Someone asked me for orthographic views of the head, so here they are.
This monster is just for a personal work, so if you want to use these pictures for inspiration don't hesitate.
