Hey everyone,
Im currently texturing a character, and would like to know how people go about this setup. I have unwraped the character to one bitmap at 2048 by 2048. The other way i was thinking might be better is to unwrap the head/body as two seperate bitmaps and then use blend maps. Would this give a better result, as i could put more detail into the face? I could just make a really large bitmap. What do people think?

Ill try both i think. Most of my camera shots of the character are of a half body size, is 2048 * 2048 large enough to look ok?
