View Full Version : Interactive 3d Camera for Maya
Kai-Sen 12-27-2010, 02:32 PM The "Interactive 3D Camera for Maya" is a project I created at the New York University Tisch Asia School of the Arts, Animation and Digital Arts MFA Program. My goal was to simulate a handheld camera in Maya and to experience it at the same time by simply holding the screen. A combination of computer vision and sensor based tracking was used to develop the solution.

Man that's awesome! :D. A heard from random people once that big store companies use 3D environments to simulate their stores (based on what is bought on a day to day basis). With the technology that you built, they could walk through a real space as if they were walking down store aisles to see what people are buying/why xD.
