hello all

i am sure there is an easy answer to my question which is right under my nose but anyway here it is

I am attempting to create muscle deformation under the skin using influence objects but here is what goes wrong, i create my skin object, muscle object and maya skeleton, i then rig the muscle to the skeleton using clusters and set driven keys, i then smooth bind my skin object to my skeleton, then i add the muscle as an influence object, but when i do this maya creates two duplicates of my muscle with the word Base appended to them. these are not attached to the skeleton like my original muscle but the skin sticks to them instead of the rigged muscle. not sure if i have made myself clear but i have attached an illustration to demonstrate, any help would be a godsend
