I have tryed to model out the plaster peeling away on a plane by moving verts etc. it looks o.k, but is their anyway I can get it too look a lot better here you will see where I done my modelling job and the scene I am modelling, I want to achieve a massive amount of plaster peeling like in the acctual scene. I had two options in mind 1) model out the peeling plaster like I have done 2) A procedural shader . Any suggestions how I can achieve a much better look?
