Hi there.
Yep, I'm looking for some crits and comments on this head I just did. He's going to be the drummer for my next animation in which my band did the music(a while ago not for this anim). He's going to be tall and lanky with huge pearly whites and some cheesy expressions (it's funky disco type stuff). The animation is gonna be simple as far as textures go so I'm counting on lighting and good rendering to bring that cartoony feel out. I'm not going to use any toon shaders. Crits on the the mesh for facial expressions would be cool and whatever else too.

the center of the nose down where the head was cloned, is too flag and it works for the tip but not the bridge of it. However, if everything has that "Clay" like feel this render has, including the drum set and all, it will look very good, Do this type of thread with each character and the kit.

I like, cool character. Looks a little like clay as said, though it's not neccesarily a bad thing. The smoothing might be better if you make the beard a separate object i think.
Btw, it reminds me a little of scooby-doo, think he would fit that style.

Just a little update of my model. I've got another 3 characters to do so i'm gonna get to it :)

BiTMAP: I fixed the nose.

Count0: I kind of purposely made the beard look squareish because I think it looks less realistic and more stylistic, if that makes sense? Shaggy you mean? LOL

Thanks both for the comments:) and I'm hoping that "clay"
look works out, if not and I get some better ideas I'll post updates on that.
