CGTalk - Maya wont create blend shapes :(

View Full Version : Maya wont create blend shapes :(

Has anyone had this problem?
I have 7 heads (so far) and am trying to add 6 blend shapes but when I select the 6 heads, then shift select the 7th and go to create deformers-blend shapes, then try to add them with the default settings nothing happens :(
I've looked all over online and it doesnt seem like anyone else has this problem... its like a ghost in maya or something.
Anyways if anyone can help I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

ok now it's letting me create the blend shapes but it's moving my original head towards the head it's blending to... ugh!!!

Did you freeze the transforms on your blend shapes? if so this could be what is causing your issue.
