hi guys, this is my first WIP game asset and my first texture ever. Ifeel like I need some critique over the general look of it to improve it further, because it still looks quite bland to me

May be if you posted also what kind of game engine it will be in and what maps did you do or post a sample of the wireframe and what you want it to look like coul dhelp ....

Well, the texture looks like it was painted with Crayons for some reason, the way the strokes are or something?
The dings and dents also look painted on, and not like they are underneath paint that has been chipped away, its' very flat looking.
Some Spec maps, and bump or normal map could really help sell this, also the blue feels very saturated.

sorry, I don't mean to poke fun at your English, but what is an electrics box?
it would help as we would have a better idea of what you're trying to achieve.
did you use reference?
if not, thats fine, I would recommend for starting out though that you try to recreate real objects so you have somewhere to go for colors/details

sorry, what I meant for electrics box is actually a gangbox
Gangbox is also a term in the electrical (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrical) industry used to indicate a box, usually metal, which houses installed electrical componentry. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gang_box#cite_note-yourwebassistant.net-0)
I didn't use any reference. thanks for the advice, I will try to follow it on my future models and textures.
.I tried to give the texture more detail, I added a bump map and Im going to add a specular.
