Hello!

When you're looking at other people's rigging reels they always show control objects and how they're pulling in limbs and stuff. I'd like to be able to show off my rigs in that fashion, but I don't know how to record it.

It's obviously not rendered. Are people using external programs to record their screen?

I can recommend Camtasia Studio. Great Codec, nice production tools and you can evaluate it for 30 days before buying, so you can make sure it fits your needs.

You have also some free programs for doing this. CamStudio is one of these. Although the default codec gives some problems with video-editing programs, it works flawlessly.
