Maybe old news, but they're splashing it on the front page:

http://www.animanium.com/

No actual date, they just say october.

"online shop still under development"

the folks at sega have a wicked sense of humour.

it's past October and still nothing. I wouldn't be surprised if this package is delayed for months. It doesn't seem like they are on top of their ....stuff! oh well, the waiting game contiues...

I sent them a mail for beta testing they replied with:

"thank you for your interest but the beta testing period is over , we'll upload a trial version soon , please try it out"

Hmmm I was annoyed at Siggraph, when I grabbed an Animanium CD from the Newtek booth (indeed..), and waited all day till we drove back to our "crib". I put the CD in expecting a demo, instead, a lone file sat in the folder, not an executable.. an MPEG!.. 500mb video of the videos you can download from their site.. yawwwnn..

I cant wait to give this a shot. The demo's of it in action were very impressive. A total new way of working with a rig. Very wicked!

Thanks for the heads up on the trial sheep :)

Cheers

The web site now says "sometime in the first half of November"...doesn't sound too bad!
