Forgive me my poor English

I'm Taiwanese student
working on my graduation project

I have a problem about light fog
my role - a bug.........I want its button can light and have a fog
I used point light and connect a point light fog
it is working

but when I scale the control curve line to scale my role
the light fog would be no use
I don't know why

can not light fog scale with role?
