Here's an animation I just finished. Please critique it. I modeled & textured the Helmet. I didn't model/texture the logo, but I did the quick little anim. and render for the composite.

I did it in 3ds max 5, combustion 2.1, and AE6. Rendered the 3D stuff with VRayFree.

I am aware that many of the pictures are cut off at the top and bottom, but those are the only ones I could find.

Tear it apart!

Thanks,

-Eric

use your horizontal lines to hide the cut photos, as if u intended
them to be cut
too fast
The logo animation is cool, but It wants to stop facing the camera, then spin to the profile view and smack the camera.. as it is now I don't get a good ook at the gorgeous logo, which I must say, experienced a masterful comversion into 3d space

oh, yeah, it's a little fast too

I think the helmet looks a little too plastic, more like a toy than a real helmet. Also, it might be cool to use a reflection map that mimics stadium lights (for night) a stadium sky (for day). If you ever look at the reflection off these helmets during a game, it's really very cool.

And I'm a Jet's fan. :P

i have a small crit on the logo that spins, would be nice if it could hang a few more frames where it is facing the camera so you have more time to see it before it shoots off screen.
