Hi guys ,

I need to create realistic cumulus cloud in maya.

I Started with maya fluids.

What is the exact workflow to approach this effect.

I need to create clouds in different shapes and sizes.

Is there any easy way create clouds in particular shapes.

To achieve a particular shape you can create a low poly model of the shape of the cloud and emit the fluid from that model. Keep the density buoyancy as low as possible. Add some swirl and turbulence to it.. voila..Most of its looks depends on the shading and lighting.. That should get you some good looking cumulus clouds.
