Studio Art Lead

Responsibilities:

• Creative leader driving team of artists towards highest visual quality.
• Ensure cohesiveness of look/feel throughout levels.
• Ensure Art team is executing efficiently and within scope while at the same time driving towards highest quality.
• Provide day to day leadership and mentorship supplying artists with constructive feedback and direction regarding standards, procedures, processes, pipelines, tools, etc.
• Define Art team objectives and milestones which align with and roll into the overall project goals.
• Ensure communication to Content Directors regarding deliverables, risks and dependencies.
• Demonstrate progress at regular intervals to senior team leadership and team at large.
• Participate to recruitment and training of new talent. • Ensure technical and artistic quality of deliverables. • Manage the communication with external partners in a distributed development environment.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years Art Lead experience, multiple shipped products a plus.
• Must have knowledge of production life cycles and demands. • Solid foundation of art fundamentals with regard to color, form, light
• Interest and familiarity in developing action adventure games.
• Exceptional ability to establish, effectively communicate and maintain artistic vision.
• Passion for gaming.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work well under stress and tight deadlines.
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.

• Good working knowledge of English is a must. Position based in Shanghai.
