been watching some maya tuts, and this tool, creasing edges looks very powerful.
on max, i have to chamfer edges to have the same effect, but that will create 2 edges on chamfered borders, and will make the unwrapping uvw process suck ten times more, since you'll have no defined borders. (for example, when chamfering a box' edges, and then box uvw mapping, to what side of the box will be assigned the border polygons created with chamfer?)
that doesnt happens with maya's crease tool apparently, since it just gives an crease value to certain edge, so when smoothing it will consider that value. so is there a similar thing to do in max? (no, smoothing groups isnt the same, as you have no control over the smoothness of the crease, its always hard transitions)
