Just another option, you could use either HDRDomelight script, or the Trinsica area light script to fake the global illumination effect. Very good results with the max scanline renderer. Not going to compare with all of these high end renderers mentioned, but it will be respectable and faster in many cases, and best of all both scripts are free. Or you could spend some time doing lighting experiments with the lights given to you in max, I've seen some amazing results by people using plain old max, and a few well positioned lights.:beer:

Make sure the scripts are compatable with your version of Max, Area light will not work right if you have Final Render installed. Enjoy

i wonder you can't use final render coz u don't have enough
money alos no way to purchase it (from iran)! there is no beta/demo/shareware
of that renderer, (too paytakht ham nist!)
