View Full Version : Extrude in Maya is snapping and i can't turn it off

I just downloaded maya 2011 on my home computer and have been fixing all my settings. For some reason every time i try and extrude something it snaps to grid, which is extremely annoying. I don't have snap to grid turned on, or any of those snap buttons. Discrete moving, scaling, and rotating are all off.

Is there another option i'm missing because i'm not seeing anything in the extrude section itself. Something in all the preferences?

is that a dynamics question? hehe. anyway, maybe try reseting your settings on your move tool options, in your extrude options, and any others that you might have adjusted. and trace back your steps.
