I've been using Photoshop for a very long time and for some reason now all my panels are opening halfway off the screen such that I can't drag them back down. When I close and reopen the panels they open even farther off the screen. Does anybody know what is causing this???

I'm going to assume that by "panels" you mean "Palettes"... correct?

Have you recently changed your screen resolution? That can cause this effect.

Under the WINDOWS/Workspace menu, use the "Reset Palette Locations" option. See if that helps.

Yep, I was referring to palletes. Actually, it's a problem that occurs because I'm using dual monitors and PS has a problem with remembering correct pallete location as I found at with a visit to Adobe's website.

Aaah ok that makes more sense then.

Does the software you use to split the screen have any way of letting you specify the exact dimensions you want to use for each screen?

If it does, that might be a way to help PS understand where things should be.
