A couple of weeks back we launched the new 3D World website: www.3dworldmag.com (http://www.3dworldmag.com)

The old site was looking a little worn so we've re-designed and changed our focus to include a wider range of useful content - including tutorials and reviews similar to those in the mag.

Take a look at the website's welcome message for all the info (http://www.3dworldmag.com/2010/11/18/welcome/).

It's be great if you guys could take a look and let us know what you think and what else you'd like to see either in the forum (http://www.3dworldmag.com/3dworld-forum/), on here or on the 3D World Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/3dworldmag).

In fact - we're running a user survey where you can win some prizes for taking part - it can be found here: http://survey.novatris.com/cit/netobserver/intro/uk/intro.html?site=yxm031mld&tdb=3

All feedback is much appreciated!

Hope you enjoy the new site.

I would love to see a digital magazine to go along with your recent modernization. Being in the US and busy, a Digital format DRM-protect if needed would be appreciated.

Glad to see the site has been redone... I honestly never liked the old one too much.

You're right - the old one wasn't much to shout about - we're hoping this one will be a lot better.

Bullit - it's only the competition that's not open worldwide not the actual survey. By gathering your thoughts on what you'd like from the website we'll be able to improve it and give you content that you'll find useful - sorry if you consider this a waste of time.

Oh - and in regards to a digital edition - we're always looking into this and we've had a lot of people mention this since relaunching the website, but we publish a lot of magazines so it takes a little longer to launch things like this. We'll keep you up to date though.

if you had a kindle edition that wasn't silly priced witht the news, reviews and written tutorials etc i'd get it...but a £6 for printed i only get it on occasion when the DVD content is compelling

You are lucky it's only £6... it's closer to 2X that amount here in the US. I would still prefer a printed edition, but it's too rich for my blood, so instead I just pick it up once in a great while.

I second the digital edition. 3D Artist has digital editions for the iDevices and they work great.

The price is also very reasonable for those of us in the US.

Just renewed 3D World as they have very good content imho but would love to see more reasonable pricing that digital editions would provide.

Hope to see digital editions soon.
