Hello everyone,

I am completly new to MB. I have made most of the tutorials, but still, I can't get many of the points.

I have recorded optical mocap datas. It's not a human being (more like a pupeet), so I have just 8 independant STTmotion captor points. Just one take.

- it seems that I can't see the animation in the fcurve unles I plot all of it. Is that correct ? I thought plotting was for exporting ?

- after plotting, if I delete/move keys in the fcurve, the animation still plays as if I had done nothing. I have seen a similar problem in another thread, but the solution involved character setup, IK and FK and such - I don't have any character setup here, just the captors points.

- another plotting after said changes will bring me back to the original datas.

I am completly confused, any help will be greatly appreciated. I wonder if I need to "cut" some connection between the "opticals" and the scene points or something....

May be I forgot some important information , please ask.

Yours

Jerome

You will want to plot your markers if you have them as live optical data, if they are just regular markers that have animation on them all ready you can just select them and edit them in the fcurve window using Animation layers.

Make sure you are looking on the base layer and not an empty animation layer when looking for the raw keyframe data.
