I don't like your composition. The telescope is too centered, and the tripod takes up too much room. It feels like the dimensionality of the room could be greatly furthered if you used a better angle.

Also, it looks like you had too much fun with the glow. It could be more subtle.

For some reason, I don't like that upper left hand corner light source. The daylight coming through the window is just so much more interesting because the telescope is looking outside. Besides, wouldn't it be easier to see through your telescope if the room you were in was dark?

Textures... The tiles on the floor look a bit too large. Those trees outside look a bit too much like photographs. Although they are not bad... however something about how they are lit gives the impression that they are photographs. It's possible that the light coming through the window isn't apparent and the same as light striking the trees outside.

Hope this helps you.

Hi,
thanks for your comments. I agree, the tiles are a bit too large and lighting needs adjustment. I had wondered if this room was too dark though. The composition should be more dynamic. I was trying to match a reference photograph but I modified some elements so why not make the comp more interesting too. The tree's are photographs.
Thanks again,
JAS.
