View Full Version : How do you make controllers?
cg_master 10-10-2003, 08:43 PM How do you make controllers? In another thread, eek posted some pictures and he said he used controllers for the facial animation. Are controllers better than morphs? Also, if I add controllers, can I still use morphers in the same animation? Thanks for any help. :)
btw. I'm using 3ds max 4.

Morphs are usually controlled by something (ie controllers)

I mean eek had something where there were a few things that looked like vertices. When you moved them, It would change the face. I know it's not the same thing as the morpher modifer.

I haven't seen what you are referring to, but I believe you can wire parameters from a slider object to the morpher modifiers controls and/or certain keyframed morph settings.
I would search the help for the slider object and wiring parameters.
You might have seen a linked Xform on a soft selection set,...
The transform of which could be wired to a manipulator.
