CGTalk - Select by material ID?

Hi,

please help me, I want to select with modificator "mesh slelect" and define material ID. I always define all polygons for mat ID 1 and than I want to selet poly for mat ID 2, but how can I define new selected polygons for mat ID 2, 3 ..etc? When I switch to number 2 and press enter or "select" always is new selection undefined :(

have you tried using edit mesh, rather than select

mesh select is for selectin... not sure if you can change...
