hi guys,

i have got a problem with ik spring solver in maya 2011,the problem is......when i try to
rotate the global control......ik spring handle is getting twisted,though i tried hard to find solution....... i din't
get any solution,even i red so many threads but i havn't find any solution,please give me a
suggestion.

hello again,
i found a solution. itis not best way maybe but it is working.
if you unparent your first joint of your spring ik chain and point constraint to new locators which some position with your first joint, you can solve twisting issue and you can parent this locators to your root control. i hope this will be helpfull.
