View Full Version : Facial Blend Shapes

We are having problems working with our facial blend shapes on our character model. The blend shapes are being utilized to create facial expressions on our character rig.They have all been set, but the rig will not transfer the geometry and motion. It will only work in an origin point on the environment, but we want to find a way to work our character's blend shapes outside of the origin point so that we can get the character to express emotions throughout all courses and sections of our environment. If anybody has any suggestions, we would like to hear them.

Do you mean when your are playing back animation that the face moves from where you place it back to the origin of the scene?

Did the transforms get frozen on the blendshapes? Or possibly the input/output connections are reversed. In Maya, the blendshape node needs to be underneath the skinCluster node (calculate first I believe).
