Hi Everyone,

I would love to get some feedback on this heavy weapon i created for Eternal Silence (http://www.eternal-silence.net/) (a HL2 mod). The concept is by Dete. model and textures by me.

I don't have much to say besides, good job. It looks really nice, if I was making it I would perhaps increase the conrtast on the texture just a bit to show the difference between your two main metal shades.

nice work

Great work, how many triangles? I really like Your texture.

nice work.
i agree with Tylak on adding more contract between the two main materials. i took it into photoshop and just increased the saturation of the brown areas about 80 and in my opinion looked better.

yep, you are all dead on with the contrast comments. I will do that tonight and post with the texture sheet. Thanks, and keep the crits coming. I want to get better and the only way to do that is for people to point out the flaws.

the model is 1996 triangles.
I made the green areas darker:

nice to see a weapon with a texture for once :)

the only thing i react upon is the fact that the main grip is angled. i assume this is a gun you have on your shoulder? in that case the grip should be like the one the UZI has... straight down 90 degrees. i dont know if ive ever seen a launcher of any kind having an angled grip.
