Digital Domain Holdings, the parent company of visual effects studio Digital Domain, has acquired 3D conversion company In-Three.

In-Three becomes a sister company of Digital Domain, and will move its production facilities from Thousand Oaks, Calif. to Port St. Lucie, Fla., where Digital Domain Holdings, has its HQ. Move is expected within weeks.

What about the 2,000-3,000 people that showed up for 2D/3D conversion jobs in Fla?

Is it still their intention to start their own fla group doing this? Or does this move seal the door on that?

Just curious.

I am in fla and I hear the rumblings all over the place about DDH this and that.

Very interesting, Most of my family is in Port St. Lucie so I've been totally trying to get down there but DD hasn't been hiring Modelers or animators yet.
