nice one i have to say.! i ogt some thoughts though. it is a cool idea to cobinate organic forms on a ship with technical things but then it definatly needs some very good textures. right now i just can judge on the modeling. Enough details for me. I wont add more. Maybe do a pilot for the ship.

Looks like a Sony diskman mated with an X-Wing fighter. ;) Work on your lighting and texturing and it will look great! Keep on working!

somone here thinks it looks like a big spider, which it does. Think of that when you texture it (fully)
Guns look a bit weedy compared to the size of the craft, beef em up a bit!
Engine out is a bit small too, when you do the final scene, make it look really agile as its gona be quite light.

it and i will keep that in mind

The model looks good, but in the cell shade render you can't see the cockpit, you should do something about that. Besides that it is an excellent model.

I couldn't help but notice this model's strong resemblance to the Adromeda Ascendant from the show "Andromeda" - one of my personal faves. here's a link, for those of you not familiar with the show.http://fantasyscifi.topcities.com/andromeda/pics/ships.html
Anyways, not sure if it's by design or by accident, doesn't really mater though. it's just an observation.

i modeled this one based on that ship but
that one is a big ship and i wanted to do
a small fighter type

i didn't notice that until after i did the render
i am fixing it and some other things right now

I'm not so keen about the cell shaded versions, to me it looks like an cop-out from real texturing. I love cell shaded stuff and it does look cool, but I think this little ship of your would be really cool if you textured it right. oh and as for the guns, get rid of them , the whole design and shape of the ship suggest that even it's weapons would be more streamlined and organic than little pipes sticking out every which way. I would suggest you give them impression that any artillery be embedded into the hull of the ship, with some accents and little details only hinitng at where the weapons are located. makes for a more interesting examination of the piece.
btw, what software are you using? Lightwave?

yeah i just did some cell stuff
because i've never done it before
and i'm using lightwave 7.5
for the guns and stuff
i'm going to do something else
with the front ones
and for the rest of it i will just see what happens
i think i might take a brake from modeling this
and start a scene for it to go in

This looks really good! I really like your latest render. Very "Blue Submarine No. 6". Keep at it!

The model is looking incredible, it would be neat if you made an animation of it in some sort of dogfight

u must do good enviroment for that, for cellshader version i think the city in the clouds, for non-cellshaded version i think the hangar with many dark places and many colorued litle lights
