I know this is a Maxscript newb question.

I am have difficulty getting wired parameters to disconnect using the UI. I see disconnecting wire parameters can be done through Maxscript, but I can't seem to get the syntax right.

paramwire.disconnect $.pos...

What's the proper syntax for specifying the Y position track in a PositionXYZ controller either by specific name or by selected?

Haven't tried it, but I guess this should work:

paramwire.disconnect $.position.controller[#y_position].controller
