Hey I think this is great... I realize you were going for non real pic here, but a better skin shader and a few other texture improvements would make this a pretty damn good render! I like the Sword texture...
Oh yeah his head looks a little too squished.
Keep working at it...
The sword texture is sweet. I think his skin looks to shiny like its clay, or rubber. Add more texture to the skin. I like it!

pretty cool, that sword is really awesome. It looking so good makes everything else look a little worse, but it is all still good.
I was just wondering, did you model him in that pose, or do you model with arms out first and then pose him using a rig?

Just out of curiosity, what program did you use to model it?

thanks for the reply ,i use 3dsmax 5.1 for modelling, rig with character studio ...snapshoot and i re-work the meshe...because the deformation joint are always bad...(i don't have a really experience with max...i start to learn it in august 2003 so...)
for the render i used an hdri map for global illumination and a omni directionnal for key light and shadow...

Well, I was expecting a viking warrior but hey. I like model and composition. Out of curiosity why was it named beserker?

I like this one.. I find his expression gives the peice a lighthearted feel (someone who seems to take himself too seriously) which is refreshing. :p imo

I like him, especially his eyes and his sword. His stomach looks wierd, but I'm not one to talk :)
