V-Ray 2.0 for 3ds Max, developed by Chaos Group, is in final BETA stage starting from 8th November. V-Ray 2.0 is a complete rendering solution, which combines the power of the V-Ray rendering engine with the unprecedented speed of the interactive rendering system V-Ray RT, running on GPUs.

V-Ray 2.0 for 3ds Max BETA program is open to all V-Ray users who have been among the first to upgrade to the new version, customers who own bundle “Three in One”, as well as all who have preordered V-Ray 2.0. All customers with preorders and upgrades will be able to access the BETA and contribute to its final feature list until the official release planned for 6th December.

Huge improvements. But where is enhanced motion blur and DOF features? I remember they were announced.

Its not clearly mentioned, but that would be the shademaps if i remember correctly...

Shade maps for faster rendering of stereo images, DOF and motion blur through the VRayStereoscopic helper
