I think than the INSPIRON 5150 can to be a right solution..

although the 5150 specs show an ATI(:thumbsdow ati radeaon+xsi=bad), the customizer shows NV, at least get the 64mb NV. I haven't used the mobile NV fx cards with XSI so I can't say if they are any good, but do a search on XSIbase.com under hardware, I think a few have used them with xsi in toshibas.
From experience, the dell M50 m60 are definitely excellent for XSI, and the 8500 is fine too.
PS I forget too but it helps, please put links to HW in questions.
